Alyx Lamy

Alyx Lamy is a First Nation woman and REALTOR® residing in Treaty 1 Territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her roots extend to Poplar River First Nation in Treaty 5 Territory through her maternal family and Crane River First Nation in Treaty 2 Territory through her paternal family.

With more than eight years of experience in the real estate industry, Alyx was inspired to become a licensed REALTOR® after recognizing the lack of Indigenous women represented within the profession. For Alyx, stepping into real estate has been about more than building a career; it has been about creating space for Indigenous voices and demonstrating what is possible for the next generation of Indigenous women.

Alyx is passionate about creating safe, respectful, and informed spaces for her clients and community. She believes Indigenous people should have access to clear, accurate information about the opportunities and options available to them when navigating real estate, land, housing, and development systems.

Through her work, Alyx strives to take up space in rooms where Indigenous perspectives are needed, use her voice to advocate for Indigenous people, and help bridge the gap between Indigenous communities and the real estate industry. She is committed to empowering Indigenous people through education, representation, and trusted guidance.

As a member of the Indigenous Association of REALTORS® (IAR), Alyx is proud to contribute to an Indigenous-led professional organization working to advance advocacy, education, ethical real estate practices, and meaningful representation across Turtle Island. She is committed to supporting IAR’s vision of a real estate industry where Indigenous peoples are respected, represented, informed, and protected, and where land-based decisions honour past, present, and future generations.
